The first bushes were planted in 2002.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis \u003ca href=\"\/en\/pages\/black-tea\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eblack tea\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e comes from the AV2 cultivar, one of the best-known Darjeeling cultivars. The picked leaves are processed on the same day to preserve their freshness: lightly rolled, with minimal oxidation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe garden sits in the midst of untouched forest.
