The tea comes from an organic, cooperatively managed plantation in the village of Bungu, at 1,296 metres above sea level. The gardens border the Amani Nature Forest Reserve, where the humid mountain climate promotes slow growth and rich leaf aroma.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe leaves are hand-picked, selecting two leaves and a bud. After withering, a controlled oxidation process and low-temperature drying follow, developing the tea’s full colour and aroma.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSakare Black brews a warm, copper-hued infusion with a pleasant aroma. The taste is balanced, with light malty notes and natural sweetness.
