Wilder Land

Wilder Land is a Dutch brand that makes herbal infusions from native plants such as chamomile, nettle, yarrow, and dandelion. The herbs grow on field margins and fallow strips that are reseeded with native species. Farmers gain a new source of income from less productive pieces of land.

The supply chain is deliberately kept short: herbs are grown locally, processed shortly after harvesting, and kept traceable. Founders Daan van Diepen and Matthijs Westerwoudt link their product to nature restoration: each herb strip increases biodiversity in the Dutch landscape.
