More About Pipa Chá
Pipa Chá is a unique oolong tea crafted by Chá Camélia in northern Portugal. The tea leaves matured for six months in used port barrels from Niepoort Winery in Porto, slowly absorbing subtle aromas of port and oak that shape the tea’s layered and distinctive character.
The base is a Chinese oolong refined in Portugal. Through barrel aging, the tea develops notes of dried fruit, honey and chocolate, together with a recognizable port wine nuance. The result is a rich yet elegant tea with depth and warmth.
The infusion carries aromas of ripe fruit and wood. With each re-steeping, new layers appear — from gentle sweetness to warm, wine-like accents that linger.
