And learn I did — even after my studies. I visited tea plantations in Malawi, on the other side of the world and the production line. I formed close connections with tea growers in Myanmar, where civil war threatens their harvest. I met people who devote their lives to tea, tasted leaves fresh as morning dew and saw firsthand the struggles farmers face. And soon, I realized:
Good tea is grown with respect for nature, by people who truly understand their expertise. Yes, tea farmers are true artisans at heart. They cherish their craft and pass it down with care and love from generation to generation.
By choosing a direct line from plantation to teapot, Tea Kulture guarantees pure natural quality tea sourced from farmers who are paid fairly and live in dignified conditions. And because ‘ dignified conditions’ can be a vague term I like to make it concrete. For example, by supporting local projects that enhance education, healthcare and sustainable agriculture for our farmers and their communities: This way, every cup of tea also gives back.
No Chemicals or polluting production processes but only pure ingredients and true craftsmanship.
Thanks to the direct line between farmer and consumer, we know exactly where our tea comes from.
Tea that is cultivated with craftsmanship and brewed with care simply tastes better.
We support projects that help the local communities of our tea farmers move forward.
