Forest Hill

Forest Hill Tea is located at the foot of Adam's Peak in the Sabaragamuwa province of Sri Lanka. On the Warnagala plantation, tea trees grow that were planted more than 130 years ago during the British colonial period. Decades of neglect allowed them to grow into trees of ten to twenty metres tall. Pickers climb these trees to harvest the young leaves by hand.

Alongside its own wild tea, Forest Hill also supports smaller tea gardens in the surrounding area. The business shares a portion of its income with workers and is a member of the Ceylon Artisanal Tea Association.
