Warnagala Wild is a handcrafted black tea from the highlands of Sri Lanka. On the Forest Hill estate, at the foot of Adam’s Peak in the Sabaragamuwa Province, semi-wild tea trees have been part of the landscape since British colonial times. From these 130-year-old trees, passionate tea workers carefully hand-pick the young leaves.
The infusion releases a rich fragrance and a warm, inviting aroma. On the palate, you’ll discover sweet, earthy, and malty notes, layered with gentle spice and a soft, smoky hint.
Produced only in small quantities, Warnagala Wild is made with a deep respect for craftsmanship and the unique character of its natural surroundings.
Storing loose leaf tea correctly is important to preserve its freshness and flavour. Keep it away from the four elements that affect quality: air, heat, light, and moisture.
