Enjojo Black is a black tea from the Bushenyi region in Uganda, produced by Women in Tea at an altitude of 1,600 metres. The tea leaves are entirely hand-picked and processed by female tea farmers. After picking, they undergo a 24-hour withering process, followed by 4 hours of oxidation, after which they are dried and roasted.
The infusion is copper-red with a sweet aroma of apricot and honey. The taste is soft and fruity, with notes of stone fruits such as peach and apricot, rounded off with a subtle honey sweetness.
Enjojo Black is an accessible black tea with a refined character. By choosing this tea, you support female tea farmers in Uganda and contribute to education, better healthcare and the strengthening of local communities.
Storing loose leaf tea correctly is important to preserve its freshness and flavour. Keep it away from the four elements that affect quality: air, heat, light, and moisture.
