Graceful Green is an artisanal green tea from the southern lowlands of Sri Lanka, near the Sinharaja rainforest. In this lush, green landscape, tea bushes grow from the seeds of century-old wild trees. Skilled pickers carefully hand-select the youngest leaves.

Innovative steaming and pan-firing techniques, inspired by Japanese and Chinese traditions, give the tea its fresh, vegetal aroma. The flavour balances gentle sweetness with umami notes and a touch of brightness, while the floral finish lends it a distinctive character.

Graceful Green comes from Kaley Tea Estate, where sustainability and care for the rainforest are at the heart of everything they do.

The story behind the tea: Kaley Tea Estate

The name Kaley means "forest" in Sinhala, and that translates directly into the way they work: at Enasaldola Estate in Kotapola (Sri Lanka), tea bushes grow among tropical greenery, twelve kilometres from the Sinharaja rainforest.

The Wickremesooriya family has been growing organic tea here since 2015, without chemicals, hand-picked and processed by hand. In 2024, Kaley Tea Estate won a special sustainability award at The Leafies in London.
