White Peony is a white tea from Malawi, hand-picked at Satemwa Tea Estate in the Shire Highlands in Malawi. Grown at 1,000 meters above sea level, the tea bushes thrive among rolling fields and mahogany forests. This tea can be seen as the Malawian counterpart to the traditional Chinese Bai Mu Dan.
The infusion shines a golden yellow, releasing a sweet, fruity aroma. Its flavour carries a gentle, honey-like sweetness, bright notes of nectarine and meadow flowers, and a hint of spice.
White Peony is delightful served hot, yet equally refreshing as an iced tea.
