Wang Family Tea

Wang Family Tea is based in Nantou County, Taiwan, and has been producing tea for four generations. The business works with fellow tea farmers from well-known tea-growing areas such as Alishan, Shanlin Xi, and Lugu Dong Ding. Wang Family Tea is the only internationally selling tea business that is entirely owned by Taiwanese tea farmers, with no intermediaries.

The family places great importance on traditional farming practices: no herbicides, recycled peanut shells as ground cover, and manual pruning. Roasting is done in the traditional way using longan charcoal from a nearby renewable forest.
