Mandalay Mystique is a black tea from Myanmar, crafted with leaves from Shan State and Mogok.

The infusion glows amber with earthy and woody aromas. Its flavour reveals a rich harmony of fruity, floral and malty notes, beautifully balanced with a lingering finish.

This tea is the result of a collaboration between Tea Kulture, the Scottish Tea Factory and Mogok Tea in Myanmar. Over several days in the Scottish Lowlands, they worked together to find the perfect balance, creating a black tea where tradition and craftsmanship come together.

The journey of our tea into your cup

After the tea leaves have been allowed to wither, they undergo a partial oxidation for eight hours. During the rolling process, the leaves of the sticky rice plant, Nuo Mi Xiang, are added to lend the characteristically sweet taste.
