Kazi Yetu

Kazi Yetu is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where tea from various regions of the country is processed, blended, and packaged locally. The tea leaves come from the Usambara Mountains, the spices from Zanzibar. The factory employs primarily women, with permanent contracts, health insurance, and paid leave.

In 2023, Kazi Yetu helped establish the Sakare Specialty Tea Company in the Usambara region, the first factory in Tanzania to be owned by the farmers themselves. The business holds B Corp certification and EU Organic certification.
